it was great! it was a bit graphic and sadistic but still a good movie. i still want to read the book but i think the book will be harder to read than watching it. who knows...ill add it to my long list of things to read.
Noomi Rapace is the actress in the movie....does anyone else thinks she looks like Kat Von D from LA Ink? its uncanny...i had to do a double take at the end of the movie. there are a couple of shots at the end where she has blonde hair....and i could have sworn it was Kat. but im pretty sure she cant speak sweedish.

They are making an American remake (because of course they are), and Emma Watson really wants to play Lisbeth. What do you think? I want to read/watch also, but I'm a bit squeamish, so I haven't gotten the guts yet...
i knew there was an english version coming out...but i hadnt heard rumors of potential cast members. i love emma watson...but i really cant see her in that role. it would be a complete 180 from everything i have seen her in...but then again it would be a good way to prove herself as a grown-up actress. its a rough movie...but if you think you can handle it i recommend it.
